DNA Age Test for Dogs

The Embark Age Test uses DNA methylation to determine a dog’s estimated calendar age. For this project, I assumed a player/coach role.

I worked closely with PM, science, and engineering leads to design, test, and execute a beta offering, eventually leading to a full-scale product launch. In its first month on the market, the Age Test drove $3M in revenue and continues to thrive as part of the Embark product ecosystem.

My responsibilities included product strategy, continuous discovery and testing, user research, wireframing, prototyping, continuous iteration, visual design, development support, and GTM support

The beta work was completed in 2022 within an 8-week timeframe. The Age Test became available to the GP in late 2023.
